What Is My IP Address?
What's my current IP, what country and city, who's the provider, what ASN am I on? This free tool answers all of that — and lets you look up any other IP too.
What the tool shows
- Your IP — the IPv4 address visible to the outside world
- Country and city — geo lookup with coordinates and timezone
- ISP — internet provider
- ASN — autonomous system number (e.g. AS24940 for Hetzner)
- Network type — Datacenter / Residential / Mobile (by ASN)
- Reverse DNS — the rDNS hostname tied to the IP
- Map — coordinates on an interactive map
- Browser headers — User-Agent, language, accept-encoding and other metadata your browser sends to every site
What it's useful for
- Verify your VPN hides your IP — connect to a VPN, open this page: if it shows the VPN server's IP, the tunnel works
- Find a proxy's country — paste any IP, see where it's registered
- Check network type — see if sites identify you as a normal user or as a datacenter
- Get the provider's ASN — for firewall rules or traffic analysis
How to check your IP
- Open the "Check My IP" mode
- The tool auto-displays your current IP and all the details
- To check another IP — type it into the input and click "Check"
Where the data comes from
Information is queried in parallel from multiple independent sources: ip-api.com, ipapi.is, ipwho.is, and a local MaxMind GeoLite2 database. This gives the highest accuracy even when one source returns wrong data.
Privacy
The service does not store your IP queries and does not pass them to third parties. Geo API requests are made by our server, so the API providers see our IP, not yours. Details in the privacy policy.
