Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 29, 2026. TL;DR — we don't store your proxies, we don't use trackers, we don't share data with third parties.

Who processes the data

ProxyLab (https://proxylab.live) is an independent online tool for proxy checking and format conversion. All data is processed on the project's own VDS server with no third-party involvement.

What data is processed

1. Proxy lists you submit

The strings you paste into the checker are processed in process memory and never written to disk. Once you close the tab or the session ends, the data is wiped. Logging of request body contents is disabled.

2. "Share" links

If you click "Share", check results are stored ephemerally in the server's RAM for 24 hours. After that the entry is automatically deleted. Nobody but the link holder can access it.

3. Technical logs

The web server (nginx) keeps standard technical logs containing IP address, User-Agent, request path, and response status. They're used for bot/DDoS protection, rotated daily, and deleted after 7 days. Request and response bodies are not logged.

4. Data on the "Check My IP" page

If you open the "Check My IP" page, the site displays your current IP address and metadata about it (country, city, ASN, ISP) sourced from third-party geo APIs. This information is not stored or shared with anyone except the browser that opened the page.

Cookies and trackers

The service does not use tracking cookies. The browser's localStorage only holds the language preference (RU / EN) and PWA-related toggles — none of this is sent anywhere. Third-party trackers (Google Analytics, Yandex Metrika, Facebook Pixel etc.) are not connected.

Third-party services

For determining geolocation and ASN of proxies (and your IP in "Check My IP" mode), the service queries public APIs:

Requests to these APIs are made by the ProxyLab server, not your browser — meaning proxy IP addresses (and your IP in myip mode) pass through us. The only parameter we send is the IP to look up — no extra identifiers.

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. The map on the "Check My IP" page is loaded from CartoDB Basemaps via CDN. These services may see your IP at the moment of resource loading.

Security

The site runs over HTTPS with TLS 1.3 (Let's Encrypt). API endpoints are protected against SSRF: private/loopback IPs are blocked as check targets. Request body size and concurrent check limits are enforced.

User rights

Since we don't collect personal data and don't identify users, GDPR-style erasure requests usually don't apply. If you created a "Share" link and want to delete it before the 24-hour expiry — write us via the contact page with the link ID.

Policy changes

Any material changes to this policy will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top. If a change affects data processing — we'll notify in a banner at the top of the site.
